PART TIME FIELD CREW

You do not need prior experience in gardening, just motivation and a passion for agriculture.

Work is part time from the beginning of May through the end of October (up to 24 hours per week) with somewhat flexible hours. We pay $16-22/hr depending on experience. We would consider offering a summer-only position to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Field work: pest control, weeding, composting, mulching, transplanting, etc…

• Harvest and clean produce

• Assist in ongoing farmstand, washpack, and fieldcrop organization, cleaning, and maintenance

Helpful Attributes
Willingness to work hard in most weather conditions 

Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a sense of humor 

Ability to do a variety of physical tasks involving bending, kneeling/crouching, and lifting/carrying 30 lbs repeatedly without strain

Respect for people regardless of race, sexuality, gender, nationality, religion, etc…
